Booking and Cancellation Policies Applicable on all travel bookings made with us

The following policies are applicable on all travel packages purchased from Travart Travel and Explorations.

 

OUR BOOKING POLICY (With Travart Easy-Pay 60-40 Payment Plan):

  • Minimum booking amount: 60% of total package price including taxes is payable on date of booking
  • Second instalment (40% of total package price) is payable up to 40 days before date of travel
  • In case of voucher requirement for visa application, full payment needs to be made 3 working days before visa date
  • In case of failure of full payment, issued vouchers if any are automatically cancelled 120 hours before scheduled travel with no refund.

 

OUR BOOKING POLICY (With Travart Easy-Pay 40-40-20 Payment Plan):

  • Minimum booking amount: 40% of total package price including taxes is payable on date of booking
  • Second instalment (40% of total package price) is payable up to 60 days before date of travel
  • Third and final instalment (20% of total package price) is payable up to 30 days before date of travel
  • In case of voucher requirement for visa application, full payment needs to be made 3 working days before visa date
  • In case of failure of full payment, issued vouchers are automatically cancelled 120 hours before scheduled travel with no refund.

 

OUR BOOKING POLICY (With Travart Easy-Pay 40-40-20 or 60-40 Modified Payment Plan):

  • In some special cases, the initial booking amount may be less than the minimum booking amount of either of our payment plans. Special cases include but are not limited to initial booking amount lower than minimum value being collected along with flight booking price for the travel plan, providing protection to the customer against price and availability changes while awaiting minimum value to be paid, collection of lower booking amount due to transfer limitations of customer’s bank.
  • In all such cases, the booking amount shall be non-refundable.
  • In most cases where Modified version of the payment plan is used, the subsequent instalment dates provided in the booking confirmation voucher would have to be adhered to.
  • In case of voucher requirement for visa application, full payment needs to be made 3 working days before visa date
  • In case of failure of full payment, issued vouchers are automatically cancelled 120 hours before scheduled travel with no refund.

 

PENALTIES FOR LATE PAYMENT:

  • Up to 3 days over due: No charge
  • More than 3 days over due date: US$ 10 per day
  • More than 15 days over due date: US$ 30 per day
  • In case of failure of full payment at least 120 hours before departure, vouchers (if issued) are automatically cancelled with no refund

 

OUR AMENDMENT POLICY:

  • Small amendments such as rearrangement of itinerary etc are possible for no additional charge even after booking but before issue of vouchers, subject to availability.
  • In case you wish to make any amendments after vouchers are issued, it can be taken up on case to case basis as per availability and feasibility of changes.

 

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Charges for cancellations up to 60 days prior to travel date: 10% of total package or minimum booking amount (whichever is higher) in case of ‘Modified payment plan’ or “Special consideration plan’ + Airline cancellation charge (as per airline policy unique to each airline)
  • Charges for cancellations up to 45 days prior to travel date: 25% of total package + Airline cancellation charge (as per airline policy unique to each airline)
  • Charges for cancellations up to 30 days prior to departure: 40% of total package + Airline cancellation charge (as per airline policy unique to each airline)
  • Charges for cancellations less than or equal to 30 days before departure: 100% of package cost + Airline cancellation charge (as per airline policy unique to each airline)
  • Charges for cancellations less than 10 days before departure: 100% of package cost + Airline cancellation charge (as per airline policy unique to each airline) + Rush Service Charge on Airline Cancellation (US$ 30 per person)
  • In case booking vouchers have been shared with the customer, the booking immediately comes under 100% cancellation charges.
  • In case only flight vouchers are issued to the customer, a minimum booking amount towards land package is collected on non-refundable basis.
  • Reason for cancellation has no bearing over the applicability of the booking and cancellation policy.
In case airline cancellation charges change between date of booking and date of cancellation, applicable cancellation charges as on date of cancellation will be applicable. Refund for flight component is directly processed by the Airline and Travart Travel and Explorations has no control over the same. Airline cancellation policies are publicly available for most airlines on their websites. In case of Airline Booking being on Non-Refundable / Non-Modifiable status, no refund is issued on cancellation.
